Watertown Police Warn Of Holiday Package Thefts

WATERTOWN, MA – Police receive increased reports of package thefts during the holiday season, according to the Watertown Police Department. The WPD on Friday issued the following safety tips to protect yourself from thefts this year.

Consider the following when receiving packages, via WPD:

• Have a neighbor safeguard your packages until you get home
• Request delivery be made at a back door or garage
• Have packages delivered at work
• Leave a note on your door for the delivery driver detailing where you want your packages left
