Watertown Resident Enjoys Franciscan Children's Adaptive Skating Camp
Campers skated the afternoon away with special guest Blades from the Bruins

On Wednesday, November 16th the campers at Franciscan Children’s Adaptive Skating Camp received a special visit from Blades of the Bruins! The adaptive ice skating program, held at Simoni Skating Rink in Cambridge, is for children ages 5-21 years with special needs. The goals of the program are to teach children how to ice skate or to improve the skating skills of children who have some skating experience. Physical therapists supervise all skating sessions and each child is paired with a coach to help him/her while on the ice. The program is one of a kind and serves children from all around metro-Boston.
