Watertown Savings Bank Awards $50,000 to Community Organizations

Watertown Savings Bank recently announced the recipients of its Customers Choice Awards:

On March 8, Watertown Savings Bank awarded $50,000 to the 34 local community organizations chosen by their banking customers. More than 220 people attended the event held at the Joseph F. Hill American Legion Post in Waltham.

Bank president Brett Dean distributed the awards while Vice President of Marketing Carole Katz read descriptions of each organization. A photographic slideshow of the winning organizations played in the background. As they accepted their awards, many recipients talked about the important services going on within their organizations.

“The customer choice awards night is truly a feel-good event,” said Katz. “It’s so heartwarming to hear about all of the good work being done in our community.”
