Watertown School Committee Will Consider Appointing a New Business Manager Monday

The Watertown School Committee will consider appointing a new director of business services at in Town Hall.

John T. Loughran is one of two finalists for the position. He would replace Allie Altman, who resigned this summer.

Since Altman left, the district has had an interim director of business services. David King, who used to work for the Waltham Public Schools, has filled in over the summer.

The committee will also consider . The appointment was made by Fitzgerald in July, but the School Committee will vote on it Monday.

She would fill in for Jean Fitzgerald, who is serving as interim superintendents during the 2011-12 school year.
