The following announcement was provided by the Watertown Boy Scouts:
On a warmer and sunnier than normal mid-November Saturday, eight local cub scouts worked in shifts in front of the Watertown Street Stop & Shop to "Scout for Food" for the Watertown Food Pantry. At the end of the day the Scouts had collected six shopping carts, brimming with food, estimated to weigh approximately 600 pounds. The Food was delivered later that day to the Watertown Food Pantry located at St. John’s Methodist Church on Mount Auburn Street.
