Watertown's Bachrach Finishes 7th in Prep Cross Country Championships
Senior tri-captain of Beaver Country Day School placed, and helped his school claim the New England Prep School Track Association Div. V championship, Saturday.
Harry Bachrach of Watertown finished in seventh place to help Beaver Country Day School capture the New England Prep School Track Association (NEPSTA) Division V Championship on Saturday in Carlisle.
Bachrach, a senior tri-captain, completed the five-kilometer race in a time of 18:34 to help lead the team. Five of the top ten finishers were runners from the Chestnut Hill-based college preparatory school.
The NEPSTA win capped an undefeated season for Beaver boys' cross country. After an 8-0 regular season, the team won the Eastern Independent League (EIL) Championship to earn a trip to the NEPSTA Championship.
