The Cat Connection to Hold Inaugural Whiskers & Whiskey Silent Auction and Gala

Waltham, MA – The Cat Connection (TCC) is holding its inaugural Whiskers & Whiskey Silent Auction and Gala on Saturday, December 2, 2017, 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the French Victory Hall on Elm Street. The event will help raise funds so TCC can continue to provide a safe haven for cats and kittens while they wait for their forever homes.

The event will include hors d'oeuvres, live music, a cash bar, and a Cutest Pet Contest. The silent auction will include a fabulous array of items including dining, sports, hand-made crafts, art, entertainment, and pet items. The event will feature a whiskey tasting, an original song by musician Kenan Cooper, and Ted Wayman (of WBZ) will MC. Tickets are being sold online. General admission is $50 or two for $90 and VIP tickets are $100. All tickets include a one-drink ticket, one raffle ticket, a t-shirt, and an event program in a reusable bag. The VIP tickets include a special goodie bag, an extra drink ticket and raffle ticket.

The evening is sponsored by MK3 Creative, Robert and Michelle Bishop, and Sandy Schawbel at the Platinum level, Rachel Geller, Cat Behaviorist at the Diamond level, The Castle Group at the Silver level, and Colvin's Gulf, All Renewable Energy Inc, Cuddly Giants, and Watertown Savings Bank at the Bronze level.

Founded in 2001, TCC is a cageless, no-kill shelter serving eastern Middlesex county with pet education, adoption and foster programs, and feral colony management. Every year TCC saves abandoned, stray, abused, neglected, unwanted, and injured cats and helps them find homes. TCC relies on the generosity of its donors and volunteers who work tirelessly to ensure the cats are provided a comfortable and peaceful environment in which they can thrive.
