What Makes George so Awesome?: Crowley received all-league accolades for his play as linebacker and tight end on the football team at The Rivers School in Weston. This winter he made the all-Independent School League team for playing defenseman for the Rivers ice hockey team.
This spring he is playing baseball, where he had spent some time on the mound as a pitcher, but growing up he always played catcher.

Crowley has attended Rivers since he was in sixth grade. This year the school won it’s first ISL football title, after going 8-0 and the team played in a prep school bowl game at Gillette Stadium.
“It was unbelievable,” Crowley said. “The good connection we had in the locker room is probably what I’m going to remember. It was a blast.”
Crowley attended elementary school at the Hosmer School through the fourth grade. While he does not go to school in town anymore, he does see some of his old friends over the summer.
“I played Watertown [American] Legion [baseball] last summer,” Crowley said. “It was good to keep in touch with those guys.”
After he finishes at Rivers, Crowley hopes to go on to college and play a sport when he is there.
