The Watertown Middle School student comes back to Lowell School to help the after-school program.

Watertown has some impressive and cool kids and here at Patch we want to feature them and tell you about the good things they do.

If you know a kid in town you think should be featured, drop an e-mail to Charlie.Breitrose@Patch.com and we'll make sure they become a whiz kid.

Grade: 7

Activities: Volunteering with elementary school students.

What Makes Jeremy so Awesome?: Each week, Jeremy works with the students in the Lowell Elementary Afterschool Program (LEAP) three to four afternoons a week.

He attended the program when he attended Lowell and now that he is at Watertown Middle School he comes back to help out.

"I like being recognized by the kids and I want to hang out with them," Breen said. "I like to coach sports, and I referee, too."

Several WMS students help out the after-school program, said Stacy Vachon, a LEAD group leader and instructional aide at Lowell, but Jeremy stands out.

"He is our star," Vachon said. "He knows how to get games going."
