Active Coronavirus Cases Drop To Zero In Wayland
This is the second time this summer that Wayland has report no new or active COVID-19 cases.
WAYLAND, MA — As coronavirus cases rise in nearby communities like Framingham and Dedham, Wayland is reporting a lull in infections.
On Monday, the Wayland Board of Health reported zero new cases and zero active cases compared to the last report released on Aug. 20. This is the second time this summer Wayland's cases have dropped to zero.
There have been 115 cases in town since the town began tracking cases in March. Nineteen residents — all between the ages of 60 and 99 — have died. Those figures include people who either live or work in Wayland, including people who either live or work at a long-term care facility.
