Carriage House at Lees Farm, a new assisted living community opening later this year in Wayland, is seeking artwork from local artists to help decorate the interior of the community.
Carriage House at Lee’s Farm is a 62-unit, state-of-the-art, senior living community located at 134 Boston Post Road. It will offer independent living, assisted living and memory care and is expected to open early next year. The architecture of the building was inspired by the surrounding farm and the rich history of the site. In keeping with that theme, they are seeking artwork and photography by local artists to hang on the interior walls, particularly artwork that complements the farming landscape.
Artists who have appropriate work and would like to present it for possible sale to Carriage House should email samples to jryan@northbridgecos.com.
“We want the interior design of Carriage House to reflect the rich history of the farm and the town of Wayland,” said Sharon Ricardi, Senior Vice President, Northbridge Companies. “This is way for us to support the local arts community and to create an environment that is comfortable and homey for our residents, most of whom will be from the Wayland area.”
Upon opening, Carriage House will feature an array of amenities for its residents, including a salon and barber shop, computer lab, pub, theater, library, activity room with Wii technology and grand dining room.
