Ben Caples named to the All-Liberty League team

Skidmore College Athletics - Senior forward/defender Ben Caples was named to the All-Liberty League second team, as the league announced its year-end winners after a vote tallied by the league's coaches on Tuesday, Nov. 6.

Caples finishes his career with his first All-League award in 2018. Caples led the team and stood among the league's best in scoring with 14 points on five goals and four assists. After scoring his first career goal at RPI on Sept. 29 he added another, then finished the season with four goals in the final five games of the season. He finishes his Skidmore career with 26 points on five goals and 16 assists.

The Thoroughbreds finished with a 9-6-3 overall record in 2018, which includes a 4-4-1 mark in conference play. The Thoroughbreds advanced to the Liberty League Tournament for the fourth consecutive season.
