Bites Nearby: Julie's Place

This week's bite: casual diner in Acton.

You know that no-frills, breakfast-all-day diner you wish for sometimes on the weekends, but in the moment, can't think of? Next time, think of Julie's Place, a casual eatery on Route 27 in Acton that offers the aforementioned breakfast all day for incredibly reasonable prices—in fact, it's not uncommon to leave having paid under $10 for a large meal—and also lunch and dinner.

A few years ago the restaurant expanded to a larger space serving casual, comfort-food dinners—think spaghetti and meatballs, meatloaf, hamburgers and the like—and also has a sports bar for socializing or watching games on four flat-screen televisions.

Greatest Dish Ever: It's hard to go wrong with the breakfast specials, especially the hungry farmer's delight: three pancakes, three eggs, two bacon, one sausage, toast and homefries.
