Event Details
On October 3th, the Wayland Festival will turn Andrew Avenue in Wayland’s Town Center into a pedestrian zone of fun, 10am-5pm. The day starts with a parade, the interactive Touch a Truck exhibit with civil, emergency, and commercial vehicles to enjoy; dynamic exhibits, activities and attractions/venders from around the globe; the widely acclaimed Artists Marketplace; performances that include the returning stars the Dwayne Haggins Band and a magnificent line up of multicultural musical and dance performances. Amenities include beer (hopefully), ice cream, barbecue, and food trucks. The Festival is organized by Arts Wayland; the Wayland Historical Society, Wayland's Human Rights, Diversity, Equity & Belonging Committee (HRDEIC), the Wayland Recreation Department, and the Chinese American Association of Wayland.
