Coach Grill is Back Open, and Welcomes a New Manager
We know you've missed it. The landmark restaurant in Wayland has been closed since April due to a fire.
WAYLAND, MA—Get your reservations in. We know you've missed it.
Wayland landmark restaurant, Coach Grill, is now open. The restaurant was temporarily closed since April 16 after a small electrical fire in the kitchen.
"After weeks of rebuilding, Coach Grill is excited to re-open and continue serving the Wayland community," said a spokesperson for Coach Grill. "The kitchen has been fully restored with all-new, top-of-the-line appliances and is back in working condition. No part of the restaurant’s main dining room was affected during the fire."

In addition to welcoming back guests, the restaurant welcomes new general manager Joe Battafarano. A service-oriented leader, Battafarano joins the Coach Grill team from McCormick & Schmick's in Providence, RI, where he recently served as general manager.
“I’m so happy to join the Coach Grill team and eager to help our staff with the restaurant’s re-opening,” said Battafarano in a statement. “Coach Grill has a storied history within this community for providing quality food and service, and I’m lucky to continue that tradition.”

Coach Grill has returned to normal operating hours, including Sunday brunch. Coach Grill is now accepting reservations and group dining requests at coachgrill.com.
