Dudley Chateau Closes After Workers, Patrons Contract Coronavirus
The Wayland Health Department is advising anyone who visited recently to quarantine.
WAYLAND, MA — The owner of the Dudley Chateau closed the restaurant this week after at least one worker and several patrons tested positive for the coronavirus, according to the Wayland Board of Health.
Now, the health board is advising anyone who visited the Dudley Chateau, 20 Crest Road, between Dec. 21 and Dec. 28 to quarantine.
"On [Dec. 29] the Health Department was notified by the Dudley Chateau restaurant owner that an employee tested positive for Covid-19," the health board said in a statement Wednesday. "We were also advised that there have been a number of patrons who visited the restaurant within the past 7 days that have also tested positive."

The restaurant will remain closed until at least Jan. 6.
This isn't the first time a Wayland restaurant has had to close due to the virus. The Coach Grill closed in October for a cleaning after an employee tested positive. The health board shut down the Starbucks along Main Street and Liberty Pizza after employees tested positive.
