Free Art Experiences for Toddlers and Preschoolers: Exploring Cultures through Art: Mosaics and African Jewelry

In our last part of our Art experience series, our experienced Art Studio teacher, Miss Jackie, leads your child in creating their very own unique works of art inspired by mosaics and African jewelry.

Toddlers will be exploring the world of mosaics by decorating their own tiles by using a decoupage technique and pressing them into their own slab of clay while preschool children will be using clay to create their own unique beads to string onto a necklace.  This hands- on activity offers children experience with fine motor skills, world cultures, sorting, patterns, solving problems with materials, and a lesson in art
history.

*Please RSVP to 508-358-1115. Limit of 10 children per class. Class is FREE and open to the community. *Pizza and refreshments will be served at 5:00 p.m. with art to
follow at 5:15 p.m.
