The Wayland Fire Department answered 50 calls for assistance during the week of Aug. 20-26, 2012. This is a summary of those incidents expecting standard training exercises and inspections:

9:34 a.m. - Green Way, medical emergency, one person transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital
4:22 p.m. - Hudson Rd Sudbury, medical emergency, one person transported to Emerson Hospital
8:47 p.m. - Main St, medical emergency, one person transported to MWMC Natick

4:50 p.m. - 18 Concord Rd, oil tank inspection
5:24 p.m. - Green Way, medical emergency, one person transported to MWMC Natick

7:59 p.m. - 177 Commonwealth Rd, assist with removal of a woodchuck from engine compartment of vehicle
