First Ever Wayland Community Arts Fair This Weekend

This thing is huge, and it’s taking over Wayland this coming weekend. 

It’s the first community-wide art fair, organized by Arts Wayland in collaboration with Wayland Cultural Council, The Vokes Players, Fireseed Arts, Wayland Business Association, GetLocalMA.com, and many other local groups and organizations.

The event, happening on Saturday, Sept. 19, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.,

The fair will showcase the richness and diversity of Wayland’s culture, music, and arts, and engage those attending the fair in a wide range of creative activities appealing to all ages, said the announcement. The Wayland Community Arts Fair will be fun and engaging for the whole family.

Among the many activities offered:

• Dozens of artists, including: authors, painters, photographers, jewelers, and musicians, performing, creating, and engaging with fair-goers.
• 20+ musical and dance groups will perform throughout the day.
• A wide range of children’s activities, including: Face painting, exploring musical instruments, Chinese calligraphy, painting, story time with children’s authors and more!
• Fun foods and refreshments will be available

The fair is free and open to all (but no pets). Off-site parking with shuttle service will be available at St. Ann’s Church.
