Today I had the great privilege of working with Irene Wieder (Science Teacher and Faculty Advisor to the Dover-Sherborn MS Earth Club). We built Big Heart Little Feet Recycle "Buddy Bins" soon to be deployed around Campus next to the outdoor Trash Barrels....a good way to reduce that human footprint by recycling bottles, cans, and iced coffee cups rather than tossing them into the trash. The students worked as a terrific team and later we ventured out on a blustery and chilly morning to pick up trash along the parking lot and woodland, plus we cut back some invasive vines like bittersweet, poison ivy, and bittersweet which were choking lovely trees along the wood buffer. I'm looking forward to our Charles River Cleanup on May 16th. --pat
