If You See A 'Copter Overhead In Wayland, Here's Why

WAYLAND, MA—Reducing bites and the spread of disease. That's the goal.

During the daylight hours from April 19 through April 27, The East Middlesex Mosquito Control Project is using a helicopter to apply of Vectobac G granules at a rate of 5lbs per acre to control spring floodwater mosquito larvae in 2,049 acres in the East Middlesex area, which includes Wayland.
