Latin, Chamber and Jazz Dot Upcoming Wayland Concert Series

The Wayland Concert Series, formerly known as the Little Theatre Concert Series, is coming up soon.

Organizers have announced the lineup for the upcoming season, which is presented on the main stage at Wayland High School. All shows are at 8 p.m., and free.

The series:

Friday, Nov. 20
Grupo Fantasia: Angel Wagner and the Grupo Fantasia Quartet bring Afro-Cuban and other Latin American rhythms to Wayland.

Friday, Jan. 22
Sarah Bob, piano
Gabriela Diaz, violin
Rane Moore, clarinet
Three giants of the Boston freelance scene bring us an evening of chamber music.

Friday, Feb. 26
Redline Brass Quintet: This Boston-based ensemble, now in residence at the Longy School, met while earning their Masters degrees at the New England Conservatory.

Friday, April 1
Neil Olmstead: In this lecture/concert, Berklee Professor Neil Olmstead discusses and demonstrates the influence of French impressionist composers on American Jazz. More here.
