Loker Elementary Invited to Accelerated Repair Program
The state program aims to help schools cut back on energy use and save money on repairs.

WAYLAND, MA — A Wayland elementary school is being invited into a state program designed to help schools cut back on energy use and save money on repairs.
Loker Elementary is one of 43 schools being invited to the Massachusetts School Building Authority’s Accelerated Repair Program, reported the Wayland Town Crier.
“The Accelerated Repair Program allows us to partner with school districts on much-needed repairs that can greatly extend a school’s lifespan,” State Treasurer Deborah Goldberg said as reported by the Town Crier. “Besides making the learning environment more comfortable for our schoolchildren, these repairs also make our schools more energy efficient and generate substantial cost savings. It’s a win-win for everyone involved.”
