Missing Wayland Teenager Found

A Wayland teenager that was missing since Saturday evening has been located, according to police.

On Sunday morning, the Wayland Police Department issued an alert asking for assistance in finding Nia McKay, a 14-year-old girl, who has been missing since Saturday evening.

McKay had gone out for a walk from her Commonwealth Road home, and her family hadn’t heard from her.

Police called for assistance from the detectives unit as well as a youth officer.

Wayland Police Chief Robert Irving said, “She has been located and she is fine.”
