K-12 summer soccer camps in Wayland, Wilmington, Tewksbury, and Belmont MA. Features: Sportsmanship: Our camp culture prizes sportsmanship, highlighted by our daily sportsperson awards and weekly CSS Cup. The monthly open mic at the Dudley Chateau in Wayland is on. Performers are welcome to come down to the mic on Wednesday, Oct. 7, from 8-11 p.m., and play three to four tunes. Soloists and duos are welcome: rock, country, folk, reggae - everything goes. "The Dudley Chateau is a classic tavern. It can be quiet, it can be loud, it can be unpredictable, but it IS like playing in a bar. A great bar." This is an all ages show before 9 p.m. "We're happy to have young performers come and play (if only to be able to have 'played in bars at a young age' on their future bio) and they can be assured of a big round of applause," said the announcement.Find Steve when you get there to sign up. If you come 8-8:30, he'll probably be the one warming up the crowd. Or just find the sign-in sheet.
