James Nocito joined the team as the newest assistant principal at the school.

WAYLAND, MA—James Nocito has joined the Wayland High School team as its newest assistant principal, announced Principal Allyson Mizoguchi.
Nocito is an accomplished Spanish teacher by trade, and has also been an administrator (assistant principal, acting dean of students and assistant housemaster) and curriculum leader in a variety of settings. Most recently, Nocito was the K-12 World Language Supervisor for the Somerville Public Schools, where he oversaw the language program for 1,150 students and taught an AP Spanish Language and Culture course for heritage language students. Prior to his time in Somerville, he spent much of his career just down the road at Lexington High School.
"Jim brings a wealth of experience as well as an enormous amount of energy and enthusiasm to his new position," wrote Mizoguchi. "Participants in the hiring process, as well as his references, spoke highly of his natural ability to connect with all students and his broad experience in supporting teaching and learning. We are excited to bring him on board."
