Online Registration for Kindergarten Begins Feb. 29
Kindergarten registration for the 2016-17 school year begins on Monday, Feb. 29.
WAYLAND, MA - Wayland Public Schools is gearing up for 2016-17 kindergarten registration.
Parents with eligible children should have received a packet in the mail containing information and necessary forms (You can download a copy here). Online registration opens at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 29 for both the half-day and full-day kindergarten program.
Tuition for the full-day program has not yet been determined, but the cost was $3,500 for the 2015-16 school year and will likely be similar for 2016-17.
To register for kindergarten for the 2016-17 school year, a child must be five years old by Aug. 31, 2016.
You’ll need the following forms to register:
- Copy of your child’s birth certificate
- Home Language Survey (sent in the packet)
- 5-year-old Physical/Immunization form (from your doctor)
- Student Health History (sent in the packet)
- Green Preschool Questionnaire (sent in your packet if not already on file)
Wednesday at 7 p.m., there will be an informational session about kindergarten choices and BASE (Before and After School Extension) programming in the Claypit Hill School cafeteria.
