It was more than just a game against the cross-town rival on Monday when Wayland High School's varsity baseball team headed to Weston High School to take to the diamond.
On May 14, the Wayland and Weston teams faced off in the Coaches vs. Cancer game. The $5 admission fees, as well as additional donations, were collected for the American Cancer Society.
Beyond raising funds, the team members themselves donned special commemorative clothing to raise awareness.
