Police Log: Ding, Dong, Ditch; Arrests; and A Baby Fox

- 6 Draper Road; Oct. 9, 3:46 p.m. - Caller reported a "sick fox or coyote" in his yard. The responding officer reported a baby fox ran off into the woods.
- 30 Riverview Ave.; Oct. 9, 7:31 p.m. - Caller reported there were kids possibly drinking at the Riverview ballfield. Police responded and arrested 22-year-old Jose Ramirez of Eliot Street in Ashland. Ramirez was arrested on two warrants: possession of a class D substance and possession of a class D with intent to distribute; failure to pay court fines and failure to appear after being recognized.
- 50 Cochituate Road; Oct. 10, 5:21 p.m. - Arrest of Kelly LaPointe following a motor vehicle stop. LaPointe, 44, of Elm Street in Marlborough was arrested on a warrant for failure to perform jury service.
- 1 Cochituate Road; Oct. 11, 6:43 p.m. - Arrest of Debra Cobb following a motor vehicle stop. Cobb, 51, of North Avenue in Sudbury, was charged with operating after a revocation and a red light violation.
- 258 Pelham Island Road; Oct. 12, 11:01 p.m. - Caller reported that someone rang her doorbell but ran away. Found to be kids playing "ding, dong, ditch" in the neighborhood.
- 101 Woodridge Road; Oct. 15, 11:21 a.m. - Caller reported a residential breaking and entering.
- 25 Main St.; Oct. 15, 3:07 p.m. - Arrest of Patrick Poisson on charges of assault and battery on a pregnant woman and other charges. The arrest actually took place in Natick though the incident was reported at this address. See the full article for more information.
