School Committee To Offer Proposals At Rescheduled Budget Hearing

WAYLAND, MA — A budget hearing for the Wayland Public Schools was postponed due to a snowstorm, but will take place next week.

According to the Wayland Student Press Network, the Finance Committee had voted on a reduction of 1 percent to the school operating budget for the 2017-2018 school year. Definitive proposals from the School Committee were to come on Feb. 13. The meeting has now been rescheduled to March 6.

The School Committee budget hearingtakes place at 7 p.m. at the Town Building.
