Spots Open In Wayland COVID-19 Booster Shot Clinic

The Thursday clinic will take place beginning at 10 a.m. at the Longfellow Youth Sports Zone.

WAYLAND, MA — Wayland residents still have a chance to get a coronavirus vaccine booster shot at a clinic that will take place Thursday.

As of 7:30 a.m. Thursday, there were still a handful of slots left at the clinic sponsored by the Wayland Health Department and the Medical Reserve Corp. Residents must book an appointment before heading the clinic, which runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Longfellow Youth Sports Zone, 522 Boston Post Road.

Gov. Charlie Baker on Nov. 18 began allowing any eligible person (people over 18 who received a second dose more than six months ago) to get a booster shot. The shots were previously only available for certain age groups and residents with certain medical conditions.
