Aaah Summer Sports!
Whether you are a get out and exercise, or let's have fun outside kind of athlete it is important to warm-up with movement and stretch plus take time to cool-down with stretch and rest.
Movement and stretch before your activity warm the muscles allowing them to be more pliable as you enable their power with less chance of injury.
After your activity, Stretch counter-balances the tightness that forms from using and building new muscles. Resting prevents the fatigue that occurs from using and building new muscles.
Come to class to learn the poses that stretch the different muscles in the body from feet to neck; get your joints moving to keep them supple; and increase your range of motion. Â Whether athlete or not an athlete, whether yogi or not a yogi who just wants to stretch this class is designed to fit everyone. Variations are always given so the students can adjust the pose to their body.
Call or email to register or to find out more information. Drop-ins are also welcomed.
