2011 Wayland High School graduate and current student at Boston University, Ian Stack has just launched an exciting, innovative new hat design, “Staax Caps” on the crowd-funding site, Kickstarter. In donating just $25 to the campaign, one can plan on receiving a hat within a couple months. With the hopeful success of the Kickstarter campaign, Ian plans on having the hats available in time for christmas. If there is any interest in acquiring such a unique new hat and supporting the idea, Ian encourages all to visit the campaign site and donate.
Ian’s Staax Cap is the world’s first 5-panel hat created completely by a low-profile Velcro material. With such material, a variety of patches are available for placement anywhere on the hat offering a unique design that’s fitting for each user. The 5-panel design and brown leather blackstrap add fashionable qualities to an already unique proposal.
This one of a kind hat seems to have innately found the medium between fashion and extreme individuality. With the opportunity to place any patch anywhere throughout the outer surface of the hat, the Staax Cap bleeds self-expression.
