Wayland Improves Season Record During Kicks for Cancer Match
Senior scores his first high school goal to win the game.

Saturday night the Wayland boys' soccer team traveled to Concord-Carlisle High School to take on Acton-Boxborough Regional High School in the fifth annual Kicks For Cancer soccer event.
Not only was it a great time to raise money for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, the Wayland boys' improved to 4-3-2 on the season after a goal in the 76th minute.
Senior striker Carson Hart was a "hero" Saturday night, according to his coach David Gavron. The coach said Hart had not played soccer since second grade, but came through to score his first high school goal against Acton-Boxborough. Hart's goal made the score to 2-1 and earned the Warriors the win.
