Wayland Resident Elected as a Corporator of Emerson Hospital

Nancy Carapezza was elected to a three-year term.

Wayland resident Nancy Carapezza was recently elected to a three-year term as a corporator of Emerson Hospital.

In her role as a corporator, Carapezza will represent the interests of Wayland as a  community that Emerson Hospital serves. She will gain knowledge about Emerson Hospital's services and communicate that knowledge to residents and business in Wayland. She will also have a hand in electing the hospital's Board of Directors and other corporators.

“Emerson Hospital relies on its Corporators to be informed ambassadors for the hospital and to assist in Emerson’s outreach efforts in their communities,” said John M. Lowe III, Ph.D., chairman of the Emerson Hospital Board of Directors. ”Corporators are truly strategic assets of the organization. We are grateful that all of the corporators will serve Emerson Hospital in this important way.”

Carapezza currently manages her husband's pediatric dental practice. She volunteers actively in Wayland's schools, her church and local health care advocacy and voting agency groups. In her free time, Carapezza enjoys yoga, traveling, reading and meditation.
