Wayland Resident Promoted in Banking Industry

Wayland resident Maud Dentico has been promoted to Business Development Officer, according to a press release from Middlesex Savings Bank. Based at the bank’s office on Edgell Road in Framingham, Dentico is responsible for establishing new commercial banking relationships and strengthening ties with existing clients.

A native of Grenoble in the French Alps, Dentico has more than 20 years’ experience in banking. Before assuming her new role, she served for five years as community banking officer and manager of the Middlesex Savings branch in Sudbury. During that time she was also a member of the Sudbury Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

She also worked for nearly four years as an assistant branch manager with Sovereign Bank prior to joining Middlesex Savings in 2006. She received a bachelor's degree in finance and accounting from ITEC and a master’s degree in finance from the Centre de Formation Professionelle at Les Charmilles in Grenoble. Before coming to America in 2002, she worked in Grenoble as assistant branch manager at Caisse D’Epargne Des Alpes and branch manager at Societe De Banque Et D’Expansion.

In her spare time, Dentico is an avid skier, hiker and surfer.
