Wayland School to Honor Speech Therapist Retiring after More Than 20 Years

Parents and children are encouraged to write "Ms. Kathy" Crawley thank you cards which will be presented at a farewell party.

WAYLAND, MA — Children's Way Preschool is preparing to honor "Ms. Kathy” Crawley after more than 20 years of helping students with speech therapy, and they're asking parents, students and graduates to help.

"In June, 'Ms. Kathy' Crawley will be retiring from The Children’s Way. She has provided speech therapy for over 20 years in Wayland and has been a ray of sunlight to those lives she has touched. We are offering the community the opportunity to say 'thank you' to her by sending in a card to your school office by May 27. The cards can be from parents as well as children. The best gift is the gift of thanks for helping our children find their words!

The cards will be presented to 'Ms. Kathy' at the Popcorn Farewell Party on Thursday, June 9 from 3:30-4:30 at the Town Building. All are invited! "
