Wayland Schools To Hold Coronavirus Vaccine Clinic For Kids

The Monday event at the high school will be for kids between 5 and 11 years old.

WAYLAND, MA — Wayland Public Schools will hold a coronavirus vaccine clinic on Monday afternoon for younger children.

The clinic will take place at Wayland High School from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Kids between ages 5 and 11 can get a special pediatric version of the Pfizer vaccine. The shot was recently approved for use in children by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Wayland-area parents who want to attend the clinic should make an appointment here.

The two other coronavirus vaccines made by Johnson and Johnson and Moderna are still only available for people over age 12 (the Moderna version is still 18+).
