WAYLAND, MA — Wayland officials are seeking residents to volunteer for vacancies on several town boards and committees.

The town is seeking applicants for roles involving local finances, conservation, housing, history, arts, aging, zoning and other civic work.

  • Audit Committee
  • Board of Assessors
  • Capital Improvement Planning*
  • Community Preservation Committee
  • Conservation Commission
  • Council on Aging Board
  • Cultural Council
  • Design Review Advisory Board**
  • Dog Control Appeals Board
  • Economic Development Committee
  • Electronic Voting Implementation*
  • Energy & Climate Committee
  • Finance Committee*
  • Historic District Commission
  • Historical Commission
  • Human Rights, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
  • Local Emergency Planning
  • Municipal Affordable Housing Trust Fund**
  • Permanent Municipal Building Committee
  • Personnel Board
  • Public Ceremonies Committee*
  • Senior Tax Relief Committee

Interested residents should submit a letter or email of interest and a resume to the Select Board, care of Abigail Warren, at execasst@wayland.ma.us, according to a town notice.

The town noted that the positions of Capital Improvement Planning, Electronic Voting Implementation, Finance Committee, Public Ceremonies Committee, Wayland Housing Partnership, and Youth Advisory Committee are not appointed by the Select Board.

The Design Review Advisory Board and Municipal Affordable Housing Trust Fund require certain qualifications.
