Wayland Weather: Rainy Bookends for a Sunny Saturday

Possible showers early in the day kick off a weekend that makes way for a mostly sunny Saturday, but another chance of showers on Sunday.

Heavy rainfall led Friday’s forecast, leading to one to two inches in some areas throughout Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, according to the National Weather Service.

Here’s a snapshot for Wayland, via National Weather Service:

• Friday: Sunny, with a high near 57. Northwest wind around 9 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph.
• Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 30.
• Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 48.
• Saturday Night: A slight chance of showers after 3 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 33.
• Sunday:A chance of showers, mainly before 4 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 50.
