30-Foot Rooftop Fall Injures Contractor: Report
The accident occurred Tuesday afternoon in Wellesley.
WELLESLEY, MA — A contractor working on the roof of a new Wellesley house was badly injured Tuesday afternoon after falling to the ground 30 feet below.
WCVB-TV 5 reported the accident occurred around 5 p.m. at 67 Old Colony Road, where the home is under construction.
The contractor, a 30-year-old man, remained conscious but experienced multiple injuries including a broken thigh bone and possible internal bleeding.

He was airlifted to Tufts Medical Center. Further details about his condition weren’t disclosed.
