The first snow, a huge football game and important municipal action all took place around the 8 o'clock hour last night.

1. The first snow of the year fell last night, right around 7:30 p.m., which is when Wellesley's Special Town Meeting begun.
2. Speaking of Special Town Meeting, it lasted about 2 hours and 45 minutes. Was this longer, shorter or typical for a Special Town Meeting. (Before the meeting began, moderator Peg Metzger acknowledged the meeting was competing with the New England Patriots vs. New York Jets game for attention. Also there were several references to the game during the meeting).
