Acrobatic Dance Certification Enhances LINX Dance Programs

WELLESLEY, MA – May 1 - LINX Dance Studio of Wellesley has enhanced their dance programs through certification in the art of acrobatic dance, to provide safe and effective programs for young dancers as they learn acrobatic elements in choreography. LINX has been certified by Acrobatic Arts for 2 years, and is the only studio in Wellesley with this status. Additionally, they are one of only 2 studios presently certified in metro west, MA.

“As acro skills are becoming more and more popular in the dance community, it is important for us as a studio to provide proper and safe training to all of our students. I chose Acrobatic Arts because their syllabus and training was created for dancers, who perform elements on a hard stage vs gymnastics that is performed on a spring floor. Elements of every class will include a focus on flexibility, strength, balancing, limbering and tumbling,” said LINX Dance Director Heather Emley.
