AHEM Annual Homelearners' Fall Fair set for November 3

Crafts, entertainment, and treats galore

The AHEM Homelearners’ Fall Fair, featuring handmade crafts, entertainment, and delicious baked goods, will be held on Saturday, November 3, for three action-packed hours: 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm, at First Parish of Watertown, 35 Church St., Watertown, MA. This lively fair provides a great opportunity to buy inexpensive, homemade gifts for the holidays, sample tasty baked goods, be entertained by a variety of talents, and enjoy networking and conversation with other homeschoolers—also a great way to introduce people to the homeschooling concept. A warm and joyful atmosphere prevails. Come and be part of it!

Browse the inexpensive crafts available to purchase for holiday giving, made by fledgling entrepreneurs as well as professional artisans. Among the many items that will be sold are fairy furniture, reusable snack bags, photography, magnets, bookmarks, garden décor, hand sewn journals, bird pictures on canvas, honey, beeswax products, lip balm, Kanzahi headbands, jewelry, pet beds and toys, essential oil perfumes and body mists, tea, mermaid crowns, greeting cards, ornaments, and bookmarks. Homemade baked goods and hot drinks will also be available. The Fair will feature live entertainment throughout the day. Performances include a magic show by Patrick Farenga, and music and other entertainment by Greenwood Chamber, Afro Diamonds, The Sturgeon Family, The Magic Flutes, and more.

Advocates for Home Education in Massachusetts (AHEM) is a nonprofit, independent, grassroots, volunteer-run, educational organization that gathers and disseminates information about homeschooling in Massachusetts through education, advocacy, and events.
