β€’ Spotted lanternflies are loving Wellesley this summer (theswellesleyreport.com) β€” Spotted lanternflies are showing up in big numbers around Wellesley's trees, including at Centennial and the Weston Road and Brookside community gardens, but officials say there's no change in state protocols yet. Residents are urged to report sightings, remove tree-of-heaven plants, and squish lanternflies and scrape off egg masses when possible to help protect local greenery.
