Art Matters presents 'Matisse' at Waterstone

Artist, educator and Art Matters owner Jane Blair will visit Waterstone at Wellesley on Monday, Aug. 24 at 3:30 p.m. Blair will discuss Henri Matisse, the famed twentieth century artist known for his peaceful paintings which employ the use of color, patterns and rich texture. Blair has been an art educator for approximately 20 years and has hosted her Art Matters lectures for nearly 14 years. This event is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is requested at 781-235-1614. Waterstone is located at 27 Washington St., and includes 134 apartments for seniors 62 and older. It features independent and assisted living rental apartments.
