'Artie Shaw and His Cinderella' Presented at Wellesley College
Shaw learns his ultimate fate in this play.

As part of the New Works series at Wellesley College, the school is presenting the play “Artie Shaw and His Cinderella,” which features the life of this bandleader, clarinetist, marksman, composer, veteran and many other things.
In the play, Shaw has just died and finds himself in a bare, drab room near the main room and waits to hear of his final destination. His fate is decided by his eight ex-wives.
The performance is on Monday, Dec. 15, at 7 p.m. in the Alumnae Hall Ruth Nagel Jones Theatre. It is free to all.
