Babson College holds 16th Annual 5K For Shelter

The 16th Annual Cruickshank Race for Shelter will be held on Saturday, October 20th at 10AM at Hollister Hall during Babson College's Family and Friends Weekend. It is a 5K Run/2K Walk that brings together students, families, alumni, faculty, staff and the greater Wellesley and Boston community to raise funds for the Office of Faith and Service's volunteer initiatives.

Babson College is entering its centennial year in 2019, and over the past 100 years has made a significant impact on the Wellesley community. Organizers are looking forward to having as many members of the local community represented as possible, as the race promotes wellness, teamwork, and a sense of community.

Additionally, the initiatives that are benefited by this race not only serve Babson students, but local and global communities on a large scale. The Office of Faith and Service works with local housing authorities, youth after school programs, hunger and homelessness centered nonprofit organizations, and senior citizen centers. In addition to these local initiatives, OFS and Babson College offer service immersion trips which range from rebuilding homes through Habitat For Humanity, to teaching their signature entrepreneurship curriculum in schools across the globe.

*The race begins at 10am. Please arrive 45 minutes before the event to make sure you receive your bib number.*

Day of Registration will begin 8:30AM at the Hollister Lot Saturday, October 20th. Online Registration will End at 2:00PM on Friday, October 19th.
