Babson Increases Scholarship for WHS Seniors

Babson has raised the amount of the Babson-Wellesley Town Scholarship to $30,000, taking effect in the 2011-2012 academic year. 

For more than 30 years, Babson has granted scholarships to qualified residents of Wellesley and Needham. In the 2009-2010 academic year, four students from Wellesley were awarded Town Scholarships.

In a letter sent to the Board of Selectman from Babson President Leonard A. Schlesinger, he announced the increase and expressed the pride Babson feels to be part of the Wellesley community and the hope that Wellesley takes similar pride in Babson's presence.
