Boston is ranked by Realtor.com as one of the hottest places to live in the country. It’s known as the intellectual and historic capital of the world with enriched tradition and culture, and Wellesley being only 12 miles outside the city has many of the same great qualities. According to Realtor.com, “…buyers are motivated and homes for sale are here today, gone tomorrow.”
The Community of Wellesley
Wellesley, an affluent town in Norfolk County, is well known for its distinguished education system, beautiful neighborhoods, and bustling downtown area filled with quaint stores and delicious restaurants. Some of the top activities recommended by TripAdvisor in Wellesley include a quiet afternoon at Lake Waban, a peaceful visit to the Massachusetts Horticultural Society’s The Gardens at Elm Bank, a trip to Bella Sante’s Day and Meds Spa, and a visit to the Davis Museum at Wellesley College. Also, Boston is only a quick drive or subway ride away from Wellesley, so there are many more activities to do and places to see. Wellesley High School’s graduation rate is 99% and the average SAT score is an 1830. “Sperling’s Best Places” ranks Boston #1 for the most competitive private colleges in the country. This isn’t too surprising with Universities like Harvard, MIT and Wellesley College, to name just a few, in your backyard. Attending a High School like Wellesley High will surely set your child up for academic success.
